Art Shuffle® & Digital Art Shuffle®
Our core teen art program allows students to become well-rounded artists by shuffling projects across a variety of media and subject matter. One River School’s innovative curriculum inspired by contemporary artists stimulates their imagination and helps them develop essential skills in a fun classroom environment. Digital Art Shuffle® brings fine art and technology together by providing students with the tools, software, and inspiration to make art on a virtual canvas. Student will learn how to use the Adobe Creative Suite allowing them to become well-rounded digital artists.

MEET YOUR TEACHING ARTISTS
Kashi Nanavati
Kashi Nanavati is an educator and artist. She has a BFA and an AAS in Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her personal work includes designing digitally in 3D, character illustration, and graphic design. As a One River teacher, she loves seeing students express themselves creatively and build a genuine love for art.
Emily Evanowski
Emily is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC where she received a BFA in Illustration. She has been working for New Jersey public schools for over 8 years, with experience with all age groups. As a teacher at One River, Emily loves being able to see students grow and be able express themselves in their most authentic way.
Kass Ortiz
Kass is a character illustrator and cartoonist with a BFA in illustration from Montclair State University. Focusing on narrative art, Kass seeks to introduce more to the medium of comics and manga as a way to express themselves and tell their stories. Kass teaches kids and teens the digital art programs needed to thrive in the industry and loves to see the lightbulb go off in their heads when they "get it."

Inside our Teen Studios
Frequently Asked Questions
Our classes are rolling, so you can start at any time! Our teachers will welcome and onboard you to the class on your first day and we recommend that you arrive a few minutes early to make your first class a great experience.
We make it easy to get started, so just bring yourself! High quality art supplies are included with your monthly class tuition. A few exceptions include our photography, video and iPad classes and camps, which require each student to bring their own camera or iPad.
We ask that you attend your weekly classes regularly, because consistency is the keys to developing your skills and building rapport with your teacher and peers. It also allows you to complete your artworks on time and reflect on the outcomes with the group. But we understand things come up, so if you miss a class please let us know so we can schedule your makeup class.
Your first month payment is a partial prorated payment based upon your start date. Then you will be billed on the 1st of every month thereafter.
Our weekly recurring classes meet year-round and many students stay with us throughout the summer. If you need a break we recommend freezing your membership and saving a seat for when you return.
If you plan to return within 6 months, we recommend freezing your membership by pre-paying for your returning month. You can set a restart date or get a credit that is valid for 6 months.
Canceling your membership requires an advance notice via our Cancellation Form with one final membership payment. You can attend classes through your final month with us.
